Sweet Eva is two years old. This is a healthy, bright, nice child. She likes to play with Lego blocks, her favorite colour is pink. Eva is an animal lover, likes to stroke and cuddle the animals, likes to play with balls with her peers, likes to run back and forth. Eva loves her brother Hayk, who is 6 years older than her. Hayk often reads children’s stories for her and thinks up various children’s games that she will enjoy.
Eva grows up in a large needy family consisting of 6 people. The family where Eva grows up comes from the village of Martuni, which is located in the Gegharkunik region and 125 km far from the capital Yerevan. The climate is harsh and not very favorable for agriculture. The mother of the family has a university education as a computer scientist, but has no job. The father is the only one who makes a living for the family. He works in the military police department. The grandparents both live with them. The grandmother has no specific job and the grandfather has been getting his old-age pension for a year. They are engaged in beekeeping and tend the small garden in front of the house, where they mostly plant potatoes and onions. All of this is only sufficient for their own use, but beekeeping also benefits somewhat. Eva’s brother is studying in the sophomore year. He is a talented and nice boy. Each of the family can count on his help any time.
Because of the tight family budget, Eva’s family has to save in order to get the house rent and the bare minimums. The children need plenty of food full of vitamins. They can rarely afford basic supplies for the family. We would like to include little Eva in our sponsorship program and ease the worries of her family. As a sponsored child, she would receive an extensive grocery package every month, including medical and dental help if necessary, which could enable her to have a more carefree childhood. The parents should save on food costs, which would be valuable and incredibly important for the whole family. Thank you in advance for your support and willingness to donate.
