David is two years old. That is an active, healthy child. David doesn’t speak yet, but walks safely and is very bright. He likes to play with toys. He is very fond of his sister and loves her very much. He hardly knows the father because the parents divorced when he was only 11 months young.
This little David lives with his mother and sister with his maternal grandmother in her parents’ house under very modest living conditions. This is an old house that needs renovation. The mother Taguhi is 31 years old. Taguhi is training to be a hairdresser. She tries to get on her feet and to become more independent, because it cannot be ruled out that one day the husband will no longer help the children either, and she also wants to enable the children to have a carefree childhood today. She is a caring mother, does her best for the children and keeps the house in order. The grandmother is still young and not ready for retirement, she deals with agriculture. The great-grandma is an 88-year-old pensioner. She also lives with. David’s younger uncle Garik is studying at school. The older brother died 6 months ago in the war for Artsakh. With the child’s pension as a single mother, Taguhi can hardly pay the household costs, electricity and gas costs in the winter months. The great grandmother’s pension is barely enough for her medication, she is decrepit, needs constant examinations and treatment. Nobody else in the household earns a fixed income.
David’s family has to save in order to get the bare minimum. David needs plenty of food full of vitamins and clothing. They can rarely afford basic supplies for the family and depend on regular help. We would like to include David in our sponsorship program and ease the worries of the family. As a sponsored child, he would receive an extensive grocery package every month, including free medical and dental help if necessary. The mother would be able to save on food costs, this would be valuable and incredibly important for the whole family. Thank you in advance for your support and willingness to donate.
