The focus of our work is on helping people to help themselves. The aim is that the supported people, as far as possible, can at some point take care of themselves through the support provided. This is to be achieved through, among other things
Help for families
Child sponsorships
Promotion of needy children and young people
Vocational training for disadvantaged people
Support for schools, children’s homes and hospitals
Our work takes place on a Christian-humanitarian basis.
We and our partner organisations mainly provide humanitarian aid. We help people regardless of their religious or ethnic affiliation. Nobody is disadvantaged or preferred because of this affiliation.
On request, people in need can receive advice and support on a Christian basis as well as Christian literature. But of course this is not forced on anyone and is not a condition for material help.
We are non-denominational, which means that our employees and those of our partner organisations belong to different Christian congregations.
We work with the following partner organisations:
Diaconia Charitable Fund (Yerevan, Armenia) – sponsorships, projects
Casa Ray (Dobreni, Romania) – sponsorships, support of a children’s home, projects
Diaconia Ajutor International (Brasov, Romania) – sponsorships
Living Faith Orphanage (Dhading Besi, Nepal) – sponsorships, support of the children’s home, projects
We are certified by Deutscher Spendenrat:
